Current
I obtained my Ph.D. degree in the Department of Electrical
and Computer Engineering at the University
of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in October 2006. My Ph.D. adviser was Professor Jennifer
C. Hou
and co-adviser was Professor Nitin
H. Vaidya.
During my Ph.D. study, I have been focusing on the research area
of wireless networking and mobile computing -- the
performance analysis, protocol design and evaluation and
simulation. In particular, they include:
- Power management
- Bandwidth management, including efficient utilization and
Quality of Service (QoS)
- Fast and scalable simulation
- Broadcast efficiency
