LaeYoung Kim is currently a post-doctoral research associate in the Department of Computer Science, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, IL, USA. She received her B.S. degree in computer science from Ewha Womans University, Seoul, Korea, in Feb. 1994 and her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea, in Aug. 2002 and Aug. 2006, respectively. From January 1994 to July 2000 she worked as a research engineer at Samsung Electronics, Korea.
